Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our Finance team. 

The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding in accounting principles and practices with meticulous attention to detail. The Accountant will be responsible for up to date accounting and ensuring timely compliance with GST and TDS accounting.

Package:-  5,00,000 p.a. 

Experience :- 5-6 Years of working Experience in a Accounting Position.

Location :- Magarpatta, Pune

Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day accounting entries and bookkeeping
  • Independently prepare Balance Sheet and Finalization of Accounts
  • Validation of Purchase, Expense & Accounts Payable
  • GST Calculations, Payments & Reporting
  • Bank Reconciliation
  • GST, TDS, and compliance coordination
  • Monthly analysis of all costs within the business
  • Assist in the preparation of weekly cash flow reports
  • Ensuring all month-end journals are posted accurately and to month-end deadlines
  • Research state laws, and update procedures / documentation as needed
  • Create budgets and financial plans as needed
  • Responsible for the preparation of accurate and timely year end statutory reports and financial statements
  • Analyzing financial data to identify risks, cost-reduction opportunities, and assisting with forecasting.
  • Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • MIS reports and financial reporting
  • Should be able to multi task, prioritise and work under time pressure

Must Have

  • B.Com, BBA with distinction in Accounts & Costing
  • Experience in Accounting Software Preferably ERP Software
  • Strong accounting fundamentals and practical knowledge
  • Good mathematical and analytical skills

  • Comfortable learning and working on new ERP systems
  • Experience in inventory management and stock tracking
  • Teaching or training experience will be an added advantage
  • Candidate should independently handle accounting activities
  • Must have Own Laptop

Nice to have

  • Accounting Software knowledge & Certifications
  • Knowledge of Odoo Accounting
  • Stay Near by to Magarpatta 

Important Note:

  • Candidates whose Balance Sheet preparation is completely handled by CA will not be considered
  • Candidates whose Finalization of Accounts is fully done by CA will not be considered
  • Preference will be given to candidates having hands-on accounting knowledge and independent working capability
